New Year New Outlook!

That’s not Microsoft Outlook I’m speaking of by the way.

What is your Technology New Years Resolution?

After taking some well earned and needed time off over the holidays, I’ve been thinking of what I would like to achieve within myself this year. More specifically, what does this have to do with technology and how can I affect it?

The reason I came to this is simply because I realized despite working in IT daily, what steps outside of my work life do I really engage with technology that doesn’t have a root line to my work. I play games, wear smart devices and recently purchased a Google home hub. To be fair 90% of the time it is used by my son to tell him jokes but the change still got me thinking.

I’ve tried to purposely stick away from most smart home advancements because I like to keep a clear more simpler home life, but it is getting harder and harder to keep up with just how well home IoT has crept into our lives.

So instead of avoiding it, I have set myself a goal or resolution if you will to engage with at least 1 new tech device each month and try to learn something new along the way.

You never know I might like it.

So how about you? What would your tech resolution be this year?
